CHARLESTON -- American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, begins nonstop jet service with two daily flights between Yeager Airport (CRW) in Charleston and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), on April 6, 2010. American Eagle will operate the service with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets, the company announced today.
"We're delighted to add this new service to Charleston," said Gary Foss, Vice President - Planning and Marketing, AA Regional Network. "With two daily nonstops, customers will have convenient connections in Chicago to destinations throughout American's global network."
"Access to global airline networks are essential for continued economic growth for West Virginia," said Yeager Airport Director Rick Atkinson. "American Eagle and American Airlines give West Virginians great global and domestic access with this schedule to Chicago."
The schedule for the flights between Chicago and Charleston (all times local) is:
Yeager Airport to Chicago O'Hare (CRW-ORD)
Depart from Charleston daily at 6:00 a.m. Arrive in Chicago daily at 6:26 a.m.
Depart from Charleston daily at 5:35 p.m. Arrive in Chicago daily at 6:01 p.m.
Chicago O'Hare to Yeager Airport (ORD-CRW)
Depart from Chicago daily at 2:35 p.m. Arrive in Charleston daily at 5:08 p.m.
Depart from Chicago daily at 8:00 p.m. Arrive in Charleston daily at 10:33 p.m.
American Eagle currently serves Charleston with a daily nonstop flight from New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA).
